OVERVIEW
Medical Facilities, in partnership with physicians, owns a diverse portfolio of highly rated, high-quality surgical facilities in the United States. Medical Facilities' four specialty surgical hospitals are located in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and South Dakota. The hospitals focus on a limited number of high volume, non-emergency surgical, diagnostic, imaging, and pain management procedures as well as offer ancillary services such as urgent care and occupational health. The case mix at each hospital is a function of the clinical specialties of the physicians on the medical staff and the equipment and infrastructure at each facility. Orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures represent a large portion of the case volumes at the hospitals. Medical Facilities' ambulatory surgery center is located in California, and performs a broad range of outpatient procedures, with patient stays of less than 24 hours.
